Playing host for the night, Ciara’s seven outfit changes hit nearly all of this season’s trends, starting with a skin-bearing silver dress with matching heels that looked to be inspired by this year’s met gala theme.

Fashion was varied on the red carpet of 2016’s Grammy Awards, with the entire colour spectrum and silhouettes from ball gowns to tailored suits making appearances. We saw nominee and performer Lianne La Havas in a yellow-on-yellow floral gown, Selena Gomez in glittered blue Calvin Klein, and both Taylor Swift and Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town in fuchsia and salmon separates. With wardrobe changes and live performances, it certainly was a night of hits (and misses).
