Leo to Portray Sufi Mystic.
Hollywood director David Franzoni is set to start casting for a film based on the life of 13th-century Persian poet Rumi. Known for his directorial role for the 2000 film Gladiator, which was celebrated as one of the most historically accurate portrayals of the Roman Empire, expectations for Franzoni’s interpretation were high. That is until he mentioned Leonardo DiCaprio was being considered for the film’s lead role.

The province of Alberta is being ravaged by another devastating wildfire leaving Tyler Warman, the Mayor of Slave Lake, with an “eerie sense of déjà vu.”
The out of control fires in Fort McMurray are horrifyingly reminiscent of the horrible blazes that destroyed Slave Lake and the surrounding areas five years ago. The 2011 fires were the second costliest disaster in Canada, having left more than 425 properties levelled or damaged.
