William and Kate take India.

British Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have begun packing for their Indian excursion. Last year, the couple confirmed their trip while Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited them in their home country. Unlike most royal getaways, which usually tote kings and queens around to meet other political and royal families, the duke and duchess have planned a variety activities that will take them to Bhutan, the Taj Mahal, and the slums of Mumbai.

Brussels Under Attack.

The Belgian capital was shaken this year when two bombs exploded in the Zaventem airport and at a Metro Station in Brussels’ downtown core. With casualties at the time estimated at 34 and more than 230 injured, the attacks were been confirmed as the work of ISIS. Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy at the United Nations.

The Commission on the Status of Women is celebrating their 60th year by investigating women in Pakistan, especially those effected by (or who have the threat of being effected by) honour killings. To educate the audience and contextualize honour killings within Pakistan, the commission hosted a screening of Canadian director Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s Academy Award winning short documentary “a Girl in the River: the Price of Forgiveness”.

Humans of New York vs. Donald Trump.

Brandon Stanton is best known for his role behind the scenes on his Humans of New York photo blog.
